After 67 years in business, the iconic Prospect Dairy Bar will be shuttering its operation. The decision comes on the heels of sales tax increases in the state and the passage of a $15 minimum wage bill.
The longtime owner of the restaurant, Carol Jones, said “… the state doesn’t make it too easy with all the taxes and all the changes so it was time.”
