Longway’s Diner

This Diner on Route 342 has been an institution for truckers on the East Coast since 1966, but the popular New York spot will no longer be open 24/7. Owner Lawrence C. Longway, who inherited the diner from his late father, was forced to cut shifts in an effort to cover the extra costs from a 50 percent increase in New York’s tipped minimum wage.
