Jax Cafe may be a 1930s landmark–but only for six days a week since the recent minimum wage hikes in Minnesota.  Owner Bill Kozlak declared that, “as a direct result of the increased minimum wage law,” he would be unable to open on the first day of each work week.  “We chose to close on Mondays…and have as little overtime as possible.”
