Del’Rio Diner

Diner co-owner Larry Georgeton was not shy about placing blame for his restaurant’s demise: “The minimum wage, that’s what broke the camel’s back.  It killed us.”  He said that to stay open he would have had to raise prices to an unreasonable level and then issued a gloomy prediction: “Very soon, all the Brooklyn diners will be gone.  It’s the minimum wage.”
